Problems Redeeming Gift Card - I receive an error saying the code has already been redeemed!

I purchased a three-month membership for my daughter and I'm not understanding how to use it. I put the code in but when she picks a picture to draw it doesn't allow her to access. Then when I try to put my code in again, it says it's already used. Please help!

This article will help explain our gift credit system and how to redeem your credit. It'll also explain the most common issue with redeeming your credit - an error message telling you that your credit has already been redeemed, yet you can't watch the lessons.

Purchasing Gift Credit

You can purchase gift card credit from this page:


The 1-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month options are suggested amounts of credit that you can purchase. You can also purchase a custom amount at the bottom. When determining a custom amount, I would suggest taking the number of months you'd like to purchase and multiplying $5.99.

For example: 4 months x $5.99 = $23.96

After purchasing, you'll receive a code. You can redeem this code on your own account or send it to a friend to be redeemed on their account.

Once you've successfully redeemed the credit, you'll see the amount added to your billing page Gift Card Balance. Again, that page can be found here


Please be sure to follow all of the instructions when redeeming your code. 

The most common mistake when redeeming gift card credit

If you haven't already selected a subscription plan (monthly or yearly), you'll need to do this next. You can do this by clicking any video lesson "Get Access Now"


Then select monthly or yearly. If your gift credit was for a few months (or under 12 months), select the monthly subscription.


This is an important step - The website will ask you to enter your credit card and billing information to complete the process. *This step will eventually change in the future. We are working with our platform provider to not require a credit card to complete the gift redemption process. 

No worries though, if you have a gift credit balance your credit card will not be charged.

Once your gift balance is gone, you have different options:

  1. Let the website auto-renew and charge the credit card on file to continue your access
  2. Cancel your subscription before it auto-renews - How and when can I cancel my membership?
  3. Or add additional gift credit before your account auto-renews.
